Juffair’s award-winning lounge has opened its new doors by the sea, at Dragon Beach Hotel.
The K Lounge officially dropped its anchor in Amwaj Islands on 25 October 25 – a date as distinctive as the launch itself. After years of defining Bahrain’s nightlife from its solitary spot at The K Hotel in Juffair, the launch of the second location marked a milestone moment for the lounge.
The K Lounge Amwaj’s Grand Opening was set against a stunning backdrop at the Dragon Beach Hotel. The upscale, indoor-only space with 75 seats, premium shisha, and a gorgeous waterfront view set the tone before the first drink was poured. The atmosphere was pure energy: a mix of familiar faces, elegant cocktails, and music perfectly tuned to the setting.
A Proven Favourite, Now by the Sea
The new Amwaj venue carried forward the internationally inspired menu that renders The K Lounge a crowd favourite – plates designed for both flavour and finesse. Guests sampled a refined selection of starters, indulgent mains, and desserts that hit the sweet spot between creativity and comfort.
Behind the bar, Outlet Manager and mixologist Brunken Watulingas introduced a standout concept: The Daily Rotating Handcrafted Cocktails. Each day of the week will now feature a unique creation offered at an exclusive price, turning every visit into a discovery. Among these inventive drinks, the Smoked Peach Eclipse stole the spotlight – a blend of mezcal, tequila, peach purée, and lime juice that balanced smoky depth with bright, juicy notes.
